The Oaks is Southern Summit Development’s planned residential community in LaGrange, Georgia. Our goal is to create a practical path to modern homeownership: thoughtfully designed homes, efficient building systems, and a neighborhood that supports the people who live there.
Homes designed for everyday living
The current plan centers on 14 Modular Vista 1307 homes, with approximately 1,307 square feet, three bedrooms, and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Modular construction is intended to support a repeatable building process while delivering comfortable living spaces and modern finishes. Final specifications, pricing, and availability will be released as the project advances.
Future-ready features
Planning includes smart-home technology and energy-efficient heating, cooling, and appliances. We are also evaluating battery storage and community energy infrastructure to support resilience. Features may vary by home package; final energy systems and backup-power arrangements will be confirmed through engineering, utility coordination, and vendor selection.
A neighborhood that invests in people
Beyond the homes, The Oaks is being planned around shared green space, opportunities for neighbors to connect, and links to the surrounding community. Our workforce development goals include exploring training pathways with local education partners and creating opportunities for local trades and small businesses to participate in delivery. Financial literacy and homebuyer education are intended to help prospective residents prepare for the responsibilities of ownership.
Where the project stands
The site plan has been prepared and approved, and the property has existing utility access. Utility access is an important starting point; final connections and capacity requirements will be addressed during delivery. Mortgage Broker prepared to support home sales.
